On Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30pm, boys and girls enjoy playing games, memorizing Bible verses and learning Bible lessons.  They also earn awards for their hard work.  From Ages 3 to Grade 8, children and youth have fun while being taught the Word of God and His love for you and me.

Awana stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed”  This is taken from a Bible verse that says “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and one who correctly handles the word of truth” 2 Timothy 2:15

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM AWANA:

  • Strong biblically moral and spiritual values

  • Dedicated, strong leaders

  • Exciting games and activities

  • Awards and prizes

WHO PARTICIPATES IN AWANA:
Children in the AWANA program are divided into several different groups according to age/grade:

Cubbies Ages 3 & 4 (JK)

Sparks SK – Grade 2

T & T Grades 3 – 6

NEW! Trek Grades 7 – 8

HOW AN EVENING RUNS AT AWANA:
There are three (3) distinct segments during

  • Opening Welcome & Songs

  • Handbook Time

  • Games Time

  • Bible Story

At Handbook Time, Clubbers recite Sections from their handbooks.

The handbooks contain selections of Bible verses and a variety of activities.
