Over the last 164 years we have seen so many people blessed by God's ministry at FBC Welland. We have also been blessed with many people who have answered the call on their life to go and spread the good news of Jesus Christ using their talents and gifts; as such we have many ministries to help families connect with God, grow in their knowledge of Him, and prepare themselves to go out on to the mission field, both locally and globally. Below you will find some information about the ministries available to bless you and your family. If you find there is something that God is calling you to get involved in, please reach out!

There is something for everyone and we encourage your kids to get involved and make friends for a lifetime while experiencing the love of Jesus and learning about Jesus.
Young Girls // Old Souls Project
The Young Girls Old Souls Project is a stepping stone for mentoring. Here we gather, once per month, as women of all ages to participate in an activity designed to bridge the generational gap between us and allow us a common ground to share life. Our hope is that the friendships built here will go beyond these walls and move into deeper, more intentional mentor-type relationships.
We all have something to share with one another and we are never finished learning; so no matter where we are in life we are empowered to pour into other women to be light in their life, encourage authentic spiritual growth, and help each other through difficult and uncharted waters, pointing to the Lord as our ultimate guide. ❤️
Next Gathering: TBD
Our men's group meets two times per week:
Bible Study is every Tuesday morning at 9:30am in the prayer + board room above the gym.
Men's Prayer + Breakfast is every Saturday morning at 7:30am in the Cornerstone Room / Upstairs Classroom for the prayer portion, followed by a breakfast outing together at a local restaurant.
Throughout the year there are men's events like NHA Suppers, Baseball Games, Movie Nights, and retreats.
Study & Learning
Adult Bible Study runs every Wednesday evening at 6:30pm led by Pastor Rene and Paul Peebles, one of our deacons.
Dunamis Small Groups are available throughout the week that provide fellowship and community and a bible study. Topics vary by each member's home.
Health & Wellness
We believe God has called us to be good stewards of all of the good gifts He has blessed us with; including our body, mind, and spirit. We offer programs to help achieve that:
Tone & Shape Classes: Monday's & Wednesday's at 8:15pm. $24/month or $3/class. Currently on break.
Softball: Each summer season we have a softball team as a part of the UFCCC League of Niagara region churches. Registration information will be posted in the spring.
